BS Chemistry Department was launched at this college on consistent demand of local society in 2021. This department got affiliated with Hazara University after thorough inspection by the affiliation team of Hazara University. The First Batch was started for the semester fall 2021 in the month of September 2021. Thirty seats were allocated for admission of students in this department. Currently two batches are functional, Batch-I at the stage of semester-IV and batch-II at the stage of semester-II. Faculty of BS Chemistry Department comprises three regular teachers and one hired teacher. Faculty is being strengthened with the induction of zealous teachers.

The vision of BS Chemistry Department is to introduce excellent courses in the curriculum of all semesters, at par with contemporary world in the field of Chemistry so that our phased out graduates enter in different field of their choice to glorify their future career in practical life. The main theme of faculty of BS Chemistry Department is to groom the students in an ideal mode, to inculcate values among the students, to teach them theory and practical of all courses in an excellent student centered mode, strengthen their basic concepts on activity based teaching learning leading to “Excellence in Chemistry Education and Integrity…”
Our Mission
To promote the cognitive, intellectual, conceptual and technical level of students for advancement of cultural, economic and industrial condition of the region, state and nation. It is possible only by getting the students of chemistry duly indulged in learning theory and practical. State of the art laboratory of Chemistry has been developed by procurement of all essential chemicals and equipments. Students have been advised to spend maximum time in lab work. Different kinds of molecular models have been procured for clarity of concepts about structures of molecules from simple to complex.

The subject of Chemistry owns broad domain on account of diversity of this subject. Our graduates can seek jobs in teaching in Higher Education Department, in Universities, in Elementary and Secondary Education Department, Atomic Energy Commission, in Meteorology & SUPRCO, in Pharmaceutical Industry & other chemicals industries in Pakistan and abroad etc.
