The System of examination at Intermediate level is conventional under the umbrella of BISE Abbottabad. A specific curriculum devised by BISE Abbottabad through collaboration of other associated departments is taught to the students of Intermediate Part-I & Part-II during specified academic session. At the end of academic session for winter zone and summer zone, annual examination is held in the month of May every year. Question papers comprise objective and subjective parts. After a stipulated period results of annual exam are announced. The students getting failed or securing low score are allowed to appear in the supplementary exam after certain interval.
Curricula is improved/modified in the light of directives of education department. Colleges prepare the Intermediate students for getting good marks in board exam through internal examinations. College administration of GC Balakot is very keen to polish the hidden capabilities of its Intermediate students through monthly testing system comprising MCQs pattern exam and Board pattern exam. The teaching faculty members are entrusted the task of month wise course breakup & at the end of each month all students of Intermediate are subjected to monthly test. Each monthly test encompasses the whole course taught before the test. Results are compiled, displayed on the notice board & also sent to the parents for judging the performance of their children.
At the end of academic session courses are revised. Few skilled faculty members are assigned the additional duty to properly groom the students regarding how to attempt the papers for securing good marks in the board exam.
