Examination is the integral part of academics at Intermediate level to acquaint the students about board pattern of papers. Alhamdu-Lillah college administration of GC Balakot has devised a self sustaining monthly testing system. Monthly tests are taken at the end of each month in accordance with academic calendar notified by HED, KPK. To save the precious time of teachers and students majority of monthly tests are based on MCQs pattern whereas the mid-term exam planned at the mid of academic session as well as terminal exam planned at the end of academic session are held according to board pattern so that students of Intermediate get well versed about tricks, techniques and time management of board exam to secure good marks in the annual exam.
Intermediate Coordinator and Controller are assigned special task of monitoring the monthly testing system, seeking course contents to be taught till end of each month, seeking standard questions from the teachers of respective subjects for synthesizing a comprehensive monthly question paper of optimum difficulty level. Question papers of all subjects for each month encompass the curriculum taught during each month. All students of Intermediate irrespective of their classes are seated in the college lawns to attempt papers of monthly tests.
A vigilant supervisory staff is deputed to conduct the monthly exam. Attempted scripts are duly marked by concerned teachers and the results are displayed on the Notice Board and Social Media for creating sense of competition among the students. It is worth mentioning that a model class system is also functional in the college campus for science students of Intermediate i.e F.Sc Part-I & F.Sc Part-II. Science students strive their level best to reach the model classes on the dint of their academic excellence and best performance in the monthly test. A modular academic system is maintained for model classes with the intention that students of this excelling institution attain good marks in the board exam & move towards professional education through Engineering & Medical Univerities.
